Overview
The Napa River Inn, built in 1884 and a member of Historic Hotels of America® since 2004 was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1977. Historic Hotels of America is the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation® for recognizing and celebrating the finest historic hotels across America. In the heart of legendary Napa Valley and named one of America's Dozen Distinctive Destinations by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Michelin-rated Napa River Inn at the Historic Napa Mill brings history to life in Old Town Napa along the Napa River. Originally established as a grain mill by Captain Albert Hatt in 1884, the hotel is housed in the original warehouse. The original brick building has seven historic deluxe rooms, the Captain Hatt Suite, and meeting space. The lobby provides a warm and welcoming area to sit by the stone fireplace and plan the day's itinerary on the wine trail.
